DAY 1

07:10 to 07:40 Pick up of passengers from their respective hotels

07:40 to 15:00 Cusco – Hydroelectric

NOTE: There will be a 45-minute stop in Santa Teresa for lunch.

15:00 to 17:30 Hydroelectric Walk – Aguas Calientes (Lodging)

NOTE: Optionally you can go to the hot springs thermal baths.

DAY 2

04:00 to 06:00 Aguas Calientes walk – Machupicchu

06:00 to 08:00 Guided tour in Machupicchu

08:00 to 10:00 Stay at Machupicchu on your own (only 2 hours)

10:00 to 14:30 Return Machu Picchu – Hydroelectric

NOTE: If you wish you can take the Machupicchu descent bus – Aguas Calientes and / or the Aguas Calientes – Hydroelectric train.

14:30 to 21:30 Hydroelectric Return – Cusco

Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Hidroeléctrica – Aguas Calientes

We will pick you up from your hostel between 7:10 to 7:30 am, make sure you bring something to read or write because the trip will last an average of 7 to 8 hours, (in favorable conditions). You will have some 10-15 minute stops in the route to stretch the legs and once arrived at Santa Teresa, we will have a delicious lunch. We will arrive at the hydroelectric station and we will start the trek that will last an average of 2 to 3 hours (12 km). This walk will be next to the train tracks and we recommend you to take a flashlight since you are probably walking in the dark as far as the town of Aguas Calientes.

Day 2: Machu Picchu – Cusco

If you want to visit Machu Picchu in the morning to see the sunrise, you will have to get up very early and walk to Machu Picchu for about 2 hours. You can visit Wayna Picchu also in the second group at 10 a.m (reservation is required) then you will have a tour of 2 hours with the guide in charge, after that you will have to return to Hidroelectrica (you can choose the bus to go down and/or the train to Hidroelectrica on your own) At 14:30 the transport will be waiting in Hidroelectrica to bring you back to Cusco.
